Some are passionate about their Marsala

Once more, Taste of the Town readers have surprised me. When Bill Hurst asked for recommendations from fellow readers for restaurants that serve chicken Marsala, I expected a few responses, but readers flooded my inbox with suggestions, many of them passionate testimonials for their favorites. So here goes:

Eastern Ave., Bill and Pauline Abramson recommended Rosati’s at 3370 S. Hualapai Way, Valerie Weinberg suggested Carrabba’s Italian Grill at 10160 S. Eastern Ave. in Henderson and 8771 W. Charleston Blvd. and the various locations of Carmine’s Little Italy.

Maffett recommended the Cheesecake Factory, which has three locations in the area, and Mimi’s Cafe, which has four, and Murray Leitner recommended Buca di Beppo at 7690 W. Lake Mead Blvd. (other locations are at 412 E. Flamingo Road and at the Excalibur, 3850 Las Vegas Blvd. South). …

Decatur Blvd., Heidi Austin and David Braun suggested the German Bread Bakery at 2237 N. Rampart Blvd. and 9255 S. Eastern Ave., Austin also recommended the Polish Deli at 5900 W. Charleston Blvd. and Langbert added that Cafe Berlin, 4850 W. Sunset Road, also sells their wurst by the piece. …

And for Robert A. Lindley, who is looking for a store that sells English foods, Lambert suggested the International Marketplace, and she and Jennifer Jones recommended Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Markets, which each have a couple of shelves of English goods. …
