Readers to the rescue in sausage search

For Earl Hoy, who’s looking for Portuguese sausage, fellow readers have not only local sources but also a brand recommendation.

Pilkington also suggested Walgreens, and said she has found two brands there. And Ron Lutz of The Butcher Block, 7625 S. Rainbow Blvd., and the Jensens of Village Meat & Wine, 5025 S. Eastern Ave., said they carry it as well. …

Fort Apache Road; Peg McKelvie found them at Albertsons at 3010 W. Ann Road and Target at 7090 N. Fifth St., both in North Las Vegas; Lynn Allard and William T. Raley suggested Smith’s; and Bob Holzlohner, the Nellis Air Force Base commissary, for which Morelli would need base access. …
