Osso buco dreams fulfilled

Mmm, osso buco. Just thinking about it makes my mouth water. Apparently the dish has the same effect on Edward T. Hammer, and fortunately his fellow readers offer suggestions about where to get the best osso buco in town.

Tropicana Ave., Paulette Kopp says the “hands-down” best is at Piero’s Italian Cuisine at 355 Convention Center Drive, and Robert Lepore, John Hillbrook and Marie Villareale recommended Ferraro’s at 4480 Paradise Road, where, Lepore pointed out, it’s half-price on Wednesdays — part of the restaurant’s locals-appreciation night, which offers 50 percent off all food from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. …
