Farro — also known as emmer wheat, closely related to durum wheat — is popular in Italy and gaining ground here, which is good news for Rodger Wildmon and other readers looking for it.

Tropicana Ave. Mercedes Barris said she buys it at Whole Foods Market at 100 S. Green Valley Parkway in Henderson; there are three other Whole Foods in the valley.
