DINING: Two festivals and a master class

The sixth annual Pure Aloha Festival is Thursday through Sunday at the Silverton, 3333 Blue Diamond Road. It will feature more than 100 craft and merchandise booths, food vendors and amusement rides, plus cultural entertainment. Admission is $7 for most adults, $5 for those 55 and older and children 5 to 10 years old. Hours are from 4 to 11 p.m. Thursday and Friday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday. Two concerts also are planned. Nesian N.I.N.E. and the Green will perform Friday, with doors opening at 6 p.m. Tickets are $35 in advance, $40 on the day of the show. And Jesse & Ruby, Patrick Palomo and Friends will perform Saturday, with doors opening at 7 p.m. Tickets for that are $30 in advance and $40 on the day of the show. The fourth annual Lebanese American Festival is scheduled for Friday through Sunday at St. Sharbel Maronite Catholic Church, 10325 Rancho Destino Road. It will feature Lebanese food (including desserts) and beverages, plus rides and games and a Sunday blood drive (from noon to 4 p.m.). Admission is $3, free for children younger than 12. Hours are from 5 to 11 p.m. Friday, 4 to 11 p.m. Saturday and noon to 8 p.m. Sunday. Proceeds will benefit the mission, including a new school and community outreach program. …

Morton’s the Steakhouse, 400 E. Flamingo Road, will host a food and wine pairing master class from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Friday. The interactive seminar led by Sara Fasolino, certified sommelier, is $49 plus tax and tip. Call 893-0703 for details. …
