DINING: Tiger’s blood and cooking classes

This didn’t take long: First Food & Bar at the Palazzo, 3325 Las Vegas Blvd. South, has introduced the “Winning! Duh! Tiger’s Blood Transfusion” cocktail.

First’s bartenders will make it for you, but if you’d rather use your own Adonis DNA, you can muddle fresh ginger in the juice of one blood orange, 1/8 ounce Chambord and 1 teaspoon of blood-orange bitters. Add ice, 1 1/2 ounces Effen Raspberry and 1/2 ounce Canton, shake and strain into a martini glass and garnish with a blood-orange wheel or wedge.

El Segundo Sol at the Fashion Show mall, 3200 Las Vegas Blvd. South, continues its Cooking Fiesta series from 10 a.m. to noon March 26. It will cover red sangria, chips and roasted tomato-serrano salsa, quesadillas with mushroom, sweet corn and huitlacoche and more. It’s $25 per person, plus tax and tip. Register at 258-1211. …

Chef Geno Bernardo of Nove Italiano at the Palms, 4321 W. Flamingo Road, will celebrate his birthday with a special cooking class, “Geno’s Favorite Dishes,” at noon April 9.
