WYNN LAS VEGAS MAKES HISTORY WITH HAT TRICK FROM MOBIL

Steve Wynn has scored a rare triple Mobil Five-Star distinction.

Mobil Travel Guide announced today that Wynn Las Vegas received five stars with his Tower Suites Las Vegas, Alex restaurant and the Spa at Wynn.

Las Vegas won 23 awards in all.

Wynn Las Vegas’s triple made history as one of only two resorts in the world to receive Mobil Travel Guide’s highest honor across all Star-rated categories.

The Tower Suites at Wynn Las Vegas is one of 44 hotels in North America to achieve the Mobil Five-Star award. The resort is also the only casino resort in the world to hold the Mobil Five-Star award for three consecutive years.

Alex, helmed by Chef Alessandro Stratta, is one of only 20 restaurants in North America and one of two in Las Vegas to earn Mobil’s top honor. Alex was also recognized with the Mobil Five-Star award in 2007 and 2008.

Wynn Las Vegas’ The Spa is the only one in Las Vegas to be recognized with Mobil’s Five-Star award. Only eight spas in North America have attained this distinction in 2009. Previously, The Spa garnered acclaim from Mobil with three consecutive Four-Star award wins in 2006, 2007 and 2008.
