WGA REACHES TENTATIVE AGREEMENT WITH ABC NEWS

NEW YORK (AP) — Unionized ABC News staffers who have been working under an expired contract for nearly three years reached a tentative labor agreement with the Disney-owned network, the Writers Guild of America East said Thursday.

The 250 affected employees, who work at ABC News in New York and Washington, will vote on the preliminary agreement Dec. 13. WGA East expects its members will ratify the deal.
