SECOND SUSPECT ARRESTED IN JAVON WALKER CASE

Las Vegas police have made a second arrest in the beating and robbery of NFL wide receiver Javon Walker.

Deshawn Thomas, 40, was arrested Monday night and is facing charges of kidnapping, robbery, and conspiracy to commit robbery with substantial bodily harm.

On June 24, police arrested 30-year-old Arfat Fadel on similar charges in the crime.

Walker, who signed with the Oakland Raiders in the off-season, was found beaten and unconscious June 16 lying in the street on Koval Lane behind the east side of the Strip.
