Singer Akon pleaded not guilty to charges Monday in connection with an incident in June in which he threw a fan off a concert stage — and allegedly caused another fan in the crowd to suffer a concussion.
Akon, 34, entered his plea in a courtroom in Fishkill, N.Y., where the concert took place this summer, the Associated Press reports. He faces misdemeanor charges of endangering the welfare of a minor and second-degree harassment.
