‘Gentleman’s Guide’

All-singing, all-dancing, all-slaying … that’s the Tony-winning formula followed by the merrily murderous musical “A Gentlemen’s Guide to Love & Murder,” about a young Brit who targets the eight aristocratic relatives standing between him and his inheritance. ‘Sordid Lives’

A black comedy about white trash — that’s Del Shores’ “Sordid Lives.” True to its title, “Sordid Lives” reveals the skeletons that fall out of the closet following a small-town Texas matriarch’s scandalous demise. “Sordid Lives” plays at the Onyx Theatre, 953 E. ‘subUrbia’

You might know Eric Bogosian from TV’s “Law & Order: Criminal Intent,” but he’s also an award-winning playwright whose scathing 1994 “subUrbia” — about aimless 20-somethings stuck in their New Jersey hometown who reunite with a former classmate who’s now a successful musician. ‘Speed of Darkness’

Polish Baltic Philharmonic
