Life is Beautiful 2017 kicked off on Friday with weather appropriate for the first day of fall.

Early attendees were invited to explore the downtown footprint’s new public art installations and listen to early headliners. The festival gates opened at 2 p.m. and the first day will end at 1 a.m.
