“A ‘Gleeful’ Musical Revue” on stage at CSN

A variety of pop and Broadway songs will be performed when "A ‘Gleeful’ Musical Revue" is staged by the College of Southern Nevada’s Department of Fine Arts.

Performances are Friday, Saturday and April 15 and 16 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday and April 17 at 2 p.m. in the BackStage Theatre on the Cheyenne Campus, 3200 E. Cheyenne Ave. Admission is $12 for adults and $10 for students and seniors. For reservations, call 651-5483.

Directed by Douglas H. Baker and written by Jessenia Paz and J. Max Baker, the musical features a cast of 20 in a setting reminiscent of a college math class.

A total of 25 songs will be performed, with selections taken from "A Chorus Line," "Rent," and "Footloose" as well as numbers by notable musicians Marvin Gaye, Tom Lehrer, Andrew Lloyd Webber and the Black Eyed Peas.
