Fight between water-bottle vendors leads to stabbing on Strip

Las Vegas police responded to a stabbing on the Strip in front of Caesars Palace on Friday evening.
The stabbing stemmed from an altercation between two people selling water bottles near the Colosseum at 3570 Las Vegas Blvd. South, Metropolitan Police Department Lt. Timothy Hatchett said.
During the dispute, one vendor pulled out a sharp object and slashed the other vendor’s forehead.
The person injured was taken to University Medical Center with nonlife-threatening wounds.
The suspect ran from the scene and as of 8 p.m. was not in custody.
