One injured in central Las Vegas shooting

A shooting in the central valley left one injured Thursday night, according to Metro.

Police responded to a report of a shooting at the 2600 block of Arville Street near West Sahara Avenue around 5:15 p.m., Metropolitan Police Department Lt. Timothy Hatchett said.

One victim was shot in the leg and taken to University Medical Center’s trauma unit with nonlife-threatening injuries.

Detectives are investigating.
