Man hospitalized after shooting in northeast Las Vegas

A man was taken to University Medical Center after he was shot Saturday afternoon in the northeast valley.

Las Vegas police responded to reports of a shooting around 3 p.m. at 2824 Constantine Ave. near Washington and Eastern avenues, Metro Lt. Kendell Bell said.

Upon arrival police noticed a man was shot once by an unknown subject. The man was then taken to University Medical Center, Bell said. His condition was not known, Bell said.

The investigation is ongoing.
