Las Vegas police investigating Tuesday shooting east of downtown
Las Vegas police are investigating a Tuesday morning shooting at an apartment complex east of downtown.
Police received multiple calls about 2 a.m. from the Oasis Ridge Apartments, 3040 E. Charleston Blvd. near Mojave Road, reporting several gunshots and a man outside who may have been shot.
Arriving officers located a man with gunshot wounds. The man was taken to University Medical Center in critical condition, but his condition was later updated to stable, Metro officer Laura Meltzer said.
No one is in custody. Witnesses reported seeing a dark-colored vehicle leave the area after the shooting, but it is unknown whether the vehicle is related to the shooting, Meltzer said.
