Las Vegas Strip security guard arrested after sexual assault

A security guard at a Strip hotel was arrested Wednesday in connection with a sexual assault, Las Vegas police said.

Robert Laws, 39, was booked into the Clark County Detention Center, where he is being held without bail. He faces charges of sexual assault and kidnapping.

Police said Laws was arrested in connection with a Sept. 4 sexual assault that was reported at a hotel in the 3700 block of Las Vegas Boulevard South, where he worked.
