August 8, 2016 - 9:50 pm
Las Vegas police are asking for the public’s help in finding a man who may have been involved in a sexual assault against an employee at a southeast valley hotel Saturday afternoon.
Just after 4:30 p.m., Metropolitan Police Department officers were dispatched to Boulder Station, 4111 Boulder Highway, to investigate a reported battery and sexual assault against an employee in one of the hotel’s rooms, police said.
The assaulted employee was taken to University Medical Center before officers arrived.
Police said the employee was inside one of the rooms when a man entered that hotel room and assaulted the employee. The suspect left when another employee came to the door.
Police described the suspect as a light-skinned black man, about 25 to 30 years old with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a red and black baseball cap, a red and black striped shirt and gray shorts with green patches on the inside of the legs.
A video of the suspect can be viewed above.
An after-hours request for comment from Station Casinos was not answered as of Monday night.
Anyone with any information about the identity or whereabouts of the suspect is urged to contact Metro’s Sexual Assault Section at 702-828-4389, or Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.
