Man armed with sword robs Carl’s Jr. in southeast Las Vegas

A man robbed a fast-food restaurant early Wednesday morning armed with a sword, Las Vegas police said.

Just before 3 a.m., a man entered a Carl’s Jr., 2380 E. Flamingo Road, near Eastern Avenue, with a sword between 3 and 4 feet long, Metro Lt. David Gordon said. The man demanded money from the register, he said.

The man left the store after the robbery and fled in an unknown direction, Metro spokesman Officer Michael Rodriguez said.

No injuries were reported, Gordon said.
