Clerk shot in early morning robbery

Police are seeking the public’s help to find two men who shot a clerk during a Sunday morning convenience store robbery.

The men entered a convenience store in the 4100 block of East Sahara Avenue at around 2 a.m., took money from the cash register and fired a shot, hitting a clerk. The clerk was taken to Sunrise Hospital and is in critical condition, police said.

The men were last seen heading north on Lamb Boulevard on foot.
