Armed man robs Dotty’s casino at Jones and Lake Mead

A man robbed a west Las Vegas Dotty’s casino at gunpoint about 1 a.m. Monday, according to Las Vegas police.

There were about eight to 10 patrons inside the casino at 2089 N. Jones Blvd. at the time of the robbery, but no one was harmed, Metro spokesman Michael Rodriguez said.

The man took a small amount of cash from the register and demanded money from the safe, he said. The man left through the back door of the casino moments before officers arrived.

No further information was available.
