A 43-year-old man on house arrest died Monday, the Metropolitan Police Department said.

He had been on house arrest since June after he was charged with theft greater than $3,500. He was taken to Spring Valley Hospital Medical Center on Friday after he suffered a medical episode in his home, police said.

He died at the hospital Monday, according to police.

The Clark County coroner’s office is investigating his cause and manner of death.

The Clark County coroner’s office on Tuesday identified a man who was shot and killed by the Metropolitan Police Department Thursday after he allegedly pointed a rifle at officers in a downtown apartment complex.
