Metro looking for southeast valley shooting suspect

Las Vegas police are seeking help in finding the suspect in the southeast valley shooting Saturday evening.
Around 7 p.m. officers responded to the 1000 block of Aspen Valley for reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located an adult man laying in the street suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The man was taken to Sunrise Trauma Center where he was later pronounced dead.
The investigation indicates the man and the suspect were in an argument in the street. The suspect then pushed the man to the ground and shot him several times with an assault style rifle. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male adult and fled the area in a newer maroon colored sedan.
This is the 56th homicide ivestigated by Las Vegas police in 2016. The identity of the man will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
