A man died Sunday after being shot in a North Las Vegas neighborhood Saturday night, according to the North Las Vegas Police Department.

North Las Vegas police said officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound Saturday night in the 7000 block of Crimson Shadow Street near Losee Road and the 215 Beltway.

The Clark County coroner’s office said Armando Villafana, 24, died Sunday at University Medical Center from a penetrating gunshot wound to the neck.

An online fundraiser remembered Villafana as a loving father and husband and included a photo of him with a baby girl.

“Everyone who knew him, loved him and remembers his vibrant and caring soul,” the post read.
