Las Vegas shooting victim: Bailey Schweitzer, Bakersfield, California

Updated October 3, 2017 - 10:01 pm

A lifelong resident of Bakersfield, California, is among those killed in the attack on the Route 91 Harvest country music festival.

Bailey Schweitzer, 20, was a receptionist at the Infinity Communications consulting company, office manager Amie Campbell confirmed Tuesday. She was also taking classes at Bakersfield College and helping out at her family’s business, Bakersfield Speedway.

“She tried to make everybody’s day brighter,” Campbell said. “She was a spirit that we’re never going to have at Infinity again.”

Campbell said Schweitzer loved going to country music concerts. She was especially excited to see Luke Combs at the Route 91 Harvest Festival, which ended Sunday.
