Idaho murder suspect arrested in Pahrump

An Idaho homicide suspect and an accused accomplice were arrested Friday in Pahrump, according to the Nye County Sheriff’s Office.

The sheriff’s office was notified by Idaho Falls investigators that the suspect — Jeremy James White, 39, of Idaho Falls — was possibly visiting family members in Pahrump, sheriff’s office spokesman David Boruchowitz said.

The sheriff’s office assisted Idaho authorities and located White in the area of Mount Charleston Drive and Red Butte Street during a felony traffic stop.

A woman who was in the car with White — Deena Aday, 49, of Idaho Falls — was also questioned by Nye County deputies, Boruchowitz said. While she was detained, authorities in Idaho obtained a warrant for her arrest on an accessory to a felony crime charge.

Both White and Aday were taken into custody and booked into the Nye County Detention Center. They are expected to be extradited to Idaho, Boruchowitz said.

Anyone with knowledge or information regarding this case is urged to contact the sheriff’s office at 775-751-7000.
