Homicide investigation underway in North Las Vegas

Police are investigating a homicide that was discovered Monday night in a North Las Vegas neighborhood.

The killing was reported in the 2600 block of North Martin Luther King Boulevard, south of Cheyenne Avenue.

North Las Vegas police spokesman Alexander Cuevas said that at 9:45 p.m., police were called to the scene and found a man dead from a gunshot wound. Cuevas said Tuesday morning that police did not have any information to release on potential suspects.

The identity of the man shot also had not been released by the Clark County coroner’s office as of Tuesday.
