Updated May 9, 2021 - 2:52 pm

North Las Vegas police are investigating a shooting early Sunday that left one dead.

Officers were called to a parking lot on the 2900 block of Las Vegas Boulevard North at about 4:45 a.m. after they received reports of an injured person inside a trailer, police said in a statement.

Arriving officers found a man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene and was believed to be in his early 30s.

Officials do not believe the shooting was a random act of violence.

No arrests had been made as of Sunday afternoon, North Las Vegas police spokesman Alexander Cuevas said.
