Coroner identifies man shot to death inside trailer in east Las Vegas

The man shot and killed inside a trailer at an east valley mobile home park where a woman was also shot and injured Sunday has been identified by the Clark County coroner.

Salvador Eduardo Ramirez, 33, of Las Vegas died of gunshot wounds to the head and right arm, according to the coroner.

Ramirez and a woman, who was not identified, were attacked by their roommate Mario Espinoza, 34, just after 5:30 a.m. at the Bonanza Village mobile home park in the 3700 block of Stewart Avenue, near North Pecos Road, police said.

Arriving officers found Ramirez with multiple gunshot wounds inside one of the trailers. He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

In a nearby trailer, officers found the woman “with stab and gunshot wounds,” who was taken to University Medical Center. Police said she was “stable” but did not specify the severity of her injuries.

Espinoza was taken into custody without incident a short distance from the crime scene. He was booked into the Clark County Detention Center where he faces one charge each of murder with a deadly weapon, attempted murder with a deadly weapon and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.
