Henderson’s Foothill High School Twitter account apparently hacked

Updated September 12, 2017 - 8:00 pm

Clark County School District police are investigating the apparent hacking of a Henderson high school’s Twitter account.

The Twitter account for Foothill High School, 800 College Drive, posted several lewd images and tweets starting about 2 p.m. Tuesday. Capt. Ken Young said police are investigating, but he had no further information Tuesday afternoon.

At one point the account posted a link to a petition asking the school’s principal to change a phone policy, calling it an “ongoing abuse of authority.”

The Twitter account has about 1,400 followers.
