Woman found shot to death at Lake Mohave campground
Las Vegas police were investigating a double shooting at Lake Mohave on Tuesday morning in which a woman was killed.
Police said a woman was found shot to death about 9:15 a.m. at Six Mile Cove, east of Searchlight.
They said a man speaking Spanish flagged down another man and indicated his girlfriend or wife had been shot.
The second man called police, who responded to the scene.
The National Park Service said the first man had been shot multiple times. Police said the man was alert and talking to paramedics.
He was being airlifted to University Medical Center, where he was to be interviewed by homicide detectives.
