Tourist found dead near intersection identified

A tourist found dead near an east valley intersection Friday was identified Wednesday.

Peter Williams, 38, of Palm Bay, Fla., was found in some bushes at the northwest corner of Harmon Avenue and Boulder Highway by a passer-by about 11 a.m.

Las Vegas police Homicide Lt. Lew Roberts said he suspects the death was a suicide.

Roberts said Williams drained his bank account and left his wife a note.

The Clark County coroner’s office will determine Williams’ cause of death.

Police said Williams arrived in Las Vegas several days before his body was found.
