Two adults and a 3-year-old girl were injured Saturday afternoon at a bus stop after a driver lost control of his vehicle, which jumped the curb onto the sidewalk, Las Vegas police said.

Julio Enriquez, 22, of Las Vegas, was turning left from westbound Owens Avenue to go south on Eastern Avenue when the crash happened at 12:44 p.m., police said. Enriquez then drove behind some buildings, where he was detained by witnesses until police arrived.

Enriquez was arrested and faces charges of driving under the influence, hit and run, and driving without a license.

Police said Norma Orantes-Campos, 37, Carlos Jimenez, 21, and the girl who was not identified were seriously injured.

The collision remains under investigation.
