Teen struck, injured in Las Vegas hit-and-run

A teenager was hit by a hit-and-run vehicle Tuesday evening and taken to the hospital.

A white sedan with unidentified license plates hit a 17-year-old near Flamingo Road and Fort Apache Road around 5 p.m., according to Las Vegas police.

The sedan fled the scene, and the teen was transported to University Medical Center in unknown condition.

Police were looking for the sedan and asking witnesses to come forward with information.
