Police: Gunfire through apartment window may have killed man

Las Vegas police are investigating the death of a man who may have been shot through an apartment window.

The shooting was reported at 12:22 a.m. Friday on the 2900 block of Sandy Lane, near Pecos Road and Las Vegas Boulevard.

Detectives think the male shooting victim went to the rear of the apartment to investigate a noise and was later found dead from an apparent gunshot wound.

The identity of the victim wasn’t released. People with information on the incident are urged to call 828-3521 or 385-5555.
