One man dies, one critical in Strip stabbing
One man died after being stabbed and another man was in critical condition after a fight early Saturday morning on a Strip walkway.
Las Vegas police said officers responded to a fight between “several subjects” about 4:15 a.m. on a walkway between the MGM Grand and New York-New York.
When officers arrived, they found two men on the walkway with multiple stab wounds.
Both men were taken to University Medical Center, where one died.
The second man is expected to survive.
Two men were found near the scene and taken into custody by police.
Homicide Lt. Lew Roberts said the men were being interviewed by detectives. Arrests are forthcoming, he said.
The dead man will be identified by the Clark County coroner’s office.
