Masked men rob jewelry store inside Galleria mall
February 12, 2012 - 7:20 pm
Three masked robbers smashed glass display cases and took jewelry from a store in the Galleria at Sunset mall late Sunday afternoon, Henderson police said.
Police spokesman Keith Paul said the robbery occurred at 5:42 p.m. at the Ben Bridge jewelry store.
As of 7 p.m., police were still looking for three suspects.
Paul said there were reports that at least one gun was seen, but those reports had not been confirmed Sunday night.
Paul said a decision was made to evacuate the mall after the robbery. Police did not make that decision, he said.
He noted, however, that the mall had been scheduled to close at 6 p.m.
