Man shot to death in park identified; teen girl in critical condition

A man who died after a double shooting that involved a teen girl Monday night has been identified.

Josue Espinoza, 21, of North Las Vegas, was shot to death about 8:45 p.m. at a park near D Street and Lake Mead Boulevard, near Kit Carson Elementary School.

A 14-year-old girl with Espinoza was shot in the chest and was taken to University Medical Center in critical condition, Las Vegas police said. She has not been identified and her condition Tuesday morning was unknown.

The suspect, described as a man in his late 20s, was seen running from the park with a handgun, police said. Several other males were seen with the suspect.
