Man shot in arm at Henderson mall

A fight between two men inside the Galleria at Sunset mall in Henderson spilled into the parking lot and ended with one man shooting the other in the arm Saturday morning, according to police.

Henderson police detectives were looking for a suspect in connection with the shooting that occurred at 9:40 a.m., just 20 minutes before the mall was scheduled to open.

The assailant fired several shots before fleeing the scene, police said.

The 23-year-old victim was taken to the Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, where he was treated and released.

Police said the victim did not cooperate with investigators.

The shooter was described as black, in his early 20s and wearing a hooded sweatshirt and black pants.
