Las Vegas woman identified as Lake Mohave shooting victim

A woman shot to death at Lake Mohave Tuesday was identified Thursday.

The Clark County coroner’s office said Rosa Castrejon, 42, of Las Vegas died from a gunshot wound to the head.

Her boyfriend, who was not identified, also was shot about 9:15 a.m. Tuesday at Six Mile Cove. He was taken to University Medical Center in critical condition, where he remained as of Thursday morning.

Las Vegas police were looking for a suspect described as a white man standing 6 feet 4 inches tall and weighing about 210 pounds.

The man was described as muscular, sporting a salt-and-pepper goatee.

He was last seen wearing a yellow button-up shirt, bluejeans and tan work boots. He was last seen driving a tan 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
