Las Vegas police seek information in man’s slaying

Las Vegas police are searching for witnesses who could help solve the slaying of a man found dead in the back seat of his car two weeks ago.

Edin Arellanos-Oliva, 34, of North Las Vegas was reported missing by his family Dec. 30. Later that day, his body was found in his 2006 dark blue Nissan Altima in the area of Maryland Parkway and Flamingo Road, police said.

The four-door sedan had Nevada license plates 546TYT.

Arellanos-Oliva, a jewelry and household goods salesman, died by ligature strangulation.
