Gang unit detectives investigating shooting

Gang unit detectives are investigating a Sunday shooting near Sahara Avenue and Paradise Road that left one man injured, said Las Vegas police Lt. Ted Snodgrass.

At 3:05 p.m., a man was shot on the 2600 block of Van Patten Street, Snodgrass said. He was shot once in the shoulder and once in the mouth, but was talking to officers at the scene. His injuries were not believed to be life-threatening. Further details were not available.
