Dennis Vanderwalker of Chino disappeared after resurfacing from the dive at Copper Canyon, according to San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Sgt. Tim Smith.
Authorities responded to a possible drowning report about 3:26 p.m.
A Sheriff’s Department diver recovered Vanderwalker’s body from the lake bottom 27 feet below the surface.
An autopsy was scheduled.
