Body in car prompts homicide investigation

KINGMAN, Ariz.– Police are conducting a homicide investigation into the death of 28-year-old Kingman, Ariz., resident Alberto Orozco, whose body was found in the passenger seat of a Honda Civic about
1:30 a.m. Monday.

Kingman police Capt. Rusty Cooper said the vehicle belonged to one of Orozco’s relatives. He said investigators were not certain why it was parked on Beverly Avenue, between Lomali and Clark streets.

“From injuries to his body, it was obvious that Orozco was the victim of a homicide,” Cooper said. “The cause of death has not been determined, and details of injuries are not being released.”

Cooper said a suspect has not been identified. Anyone with information is urged to call Kingman police at 928-753-2191.
