KINGMAN,Ariz. — A Kingman man was arrested Monday after police allege he used his Cadillac to strike and kill the man who had been dating his adopted daughter.

Nickoulas A. Gerencser Jr., 21, died at the scene where he was hit twice by the Cadillac driven by 47-year-old Michael Rivera, according to Kingman police.

Witnesses said Rivera aimed his car at Gerenscer and others who had gathered outside in their Arizona neighborhood, said Police Captain Rusty Cooper. Rivera was taken into custody about 12:30 p.m. following a brief police pursuit in north Kingman. He was booked into the Mohave County jail on a first-degree murder charge.
