MGM, Pinnacle team up on marketing efforts

MGM Resorts International and Pinnacle Entertainment announced a partnership Thursday between the casino companies’ customer loyalty programs.

Beginning April 1, select members of Pinnacle’s “mychoice” will be offered hotel stays, show tickets and other benefits at MGM Resorts’ properties in Las Vegas.

MGM Resorts’ “M life” members will receive offers for hotel stays, dining and other amenities at Pinnacle’s properties in regional U.S. gaming markets.

Pinnacle, which is headquartered in Las Vegas, does not operate a Strip casino. The company has properties in Colorado, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri and the Northern Nevada community of Jackpot.

MGM operates 10 Strip resorts, including the Bellagio, The Mirage, MGM Grand and the CityCenter complex.

The marketing relationship allows the casino operators to offer rewards and provide access to gaming and entertainment in areas where they don’t have properties.
