Real estate program to cover project design

The commercial real-estate certification program’s 2007 series will cover project design in its next course, running 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. May 5 at the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors office, 1750 E. Sahara Ave.

The Lied Institute for Real Estate Studies at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas will present the course with the Southern Nevada chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties and the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors.

Cost is $95 per course or $760 for the nine-course package. Call 895-4492 for information.

Lewis and Roca, a law firm, named Howard Cole partner and Suzanne Martin associate.

Community Bank of Nevada named Diane McArdle, James Rensvold, Terri Empol, Ashley Mates and Becky Henson branch managers.

KLVX-TV, Channel 10 named Cyndy Robbins program director and Judy Reich community outreach and promotions associate.

The Las Vegas Outlet Store named Alexia Conger store manager and Amanda Isaacson assistant manager.

CommPartners, an Internet protocol network company, named Gregory Roeper president.

Before joining CommPartners, Roeper was president and chief executive officer of Vodavi Technology, a telecommunications systems provider that in 2006 was acquired by Vertical Communications.

The March of Dimes, a nonprofit group, named Richard Veitz Western region National Office of Volunteers chairman. He is executive vice president and chief community banking officer of Nevada State Bank.
