College to present bank teller training

The College of Southern Nevada will offer its entry-level bank teller training program starting Sept. 10.

Classes will run 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday Sept. 10-21 and Oct. 29 through Nov. 9 at the Sahara West campus, 2409 Las Verdes St.; and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays Sept. 29 through Dec. 1 at the Green Valley campus, 1560 W. Warm Springs Road.

Classes will cover cash handling transactions, check cashing, deposits, selling special services, loan payments, compliance and risky transactions.

Colliers International, a commercial real estate services company, named Samuel Enegren vice president of the private capital group.

Silver State Bancorp appointed Clifton Calhoun senior vice president and corporate governance director.

Glen, Smith & Glen Development, a Las Vegas-based commercial and residential development firm, named Paul Chung chief operating officer and Beth Shutwell chief financial officer.

The Nevada Mining Association, a nonprofit trade group, named Mark Amodei as president, effective Oct. 1.

He is a partner with law firm Kummer Kaempfer Bonner Renshaw & Ferrario. Amodei is replacing Russ Fields, who is retiring after 10 years with the group.

The Employment Law Alliance, a nonprofit trade organization for employment and labor law attorneys, named Lewis and Roca and Las Vegas office partner Howard Cole as its Southern Nevada representative.

Greenberg Traurig, a law firm, named Philip Hymanson shareholder in the litigation practice of its has Las Vegas office.
