Chamber will present small-business awards
The Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce will present the 2007 Small Business Excellence Awards at noon Wednesday at the Four Seasons, 3960 Las Vegas Blvd. South.
In a statement, the chamber said the awards will recognize innovation and business acumen in four categories: nonprofit of the year, entrepreneur of the year, innovative business of the year and small business of the year.
The event starts with check in at 11:30; the program will follow at noon. Stephen Little, a senior consultant for Inc. magazine and author of “The 7 Irrefutable Rules of Small Business Growth,” will speak.
Admission is $40 for chamber members and $55 for nonmembers or people without reservations.
